Responsible Papers & Boards
Paper is good. But not all trees are grown equal. Repak chooses papers and boards only from responsibly grown sources from across the globe with certifications from leading councils resulting in valued quality of products and sustainability.
Corn Starch
Cornstarch is the new polystyrene. Polystyrene has been a material of choice for leak free food packaging for years. Now, with improved recycling technologies, we’ve made boxes from cornstarch and more sustainable materials chosen carefully.
Birch Wood
Choosing Birch wood is for its abundance and relatively fast growing quality causing less than minimal destruction of biodiversity. Repak’s value in choosing materials that are compostable and affordable, we chose Birch from sustainably managed forests.
Coatings and Linings
Products that are made for direct food and beverage packing are lined with layers that are approved from various bodies, comprises an aqueous - based polymer coating to build moisture barrier for the products and also to prevent leakage.
CPLA (Crystallised Poly Lactic Acid)
Crystallized Polylactic acid (CPLA) is a biodegradable as well as recyclable polyester made from renewable feedstock. CPLAs are opaque and harder retaining heat and cold line properties of the products that are stored
